Banned Breeds Policy
This policy relates to breeds of dogs banned as listed on the GOV.UK Website and should be reviewed alongside our Usage Policy
At Fosseway Fields we do accept banned breeds being walked in the fields providing the below terms are adhered to:
The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED). A copy of the life certificate must be provided to us via e-mail at time of booking
A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog must be provided to us via e-mail at the time of booking
The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times
The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules
The dog is Micro Chipped
You must drive and park in the field and the dog be kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is bolted and locked behind you.
You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field
The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled and securely in your car before opening the gate to leave the field
If the household has more than one dog, they can come to the field together as long as the handler ratio remains 1:1. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the XL Bully.
If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler.
All our terms and conditions apply.
Failure to adhere to the above rules will result in future bookings being refused.
We reserve the right to terminate any booking during the session should policy not be adhered to.
